Looking at the Atlanta Falcons’ open training camp schedule, including 11 open practice dates
The Atlanta Falcons had a respectable season in 2024, going 8-9 in the first year under head coach Raheem Morris. After missing the playoffs for seven consecutive seasons, the team is under serious pressure to win in 2025. At the very least, this Falcons must find a way back into the postseason.
If they fail to do so, general manager Terry Fontenot may not be back in 2026. Atlanta’s offseason approach has reflected that of a team desperate to return to the playoffs. Fontenot even traded a future first-round pick to secure edge rusher James Pearce Jr.
The next step for Atlanta is training camp, which kicks off on July 24. Both veterans and rookies will report for camp on July 23. The team is set to hold 11 open practices, including a two joint practice sessions with the Tennessee Titans.
