Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is coming off the most efficient season of his career. He topped 40 total touchdowns for the fifth consecutive season, which is an NFL record, and he threw just six interceptions after leading the NFL with 18 in 2023.

Allen led the Bills to the AFC Championship Game for the second time of his career, and earned MVP honors for his individual efforts throughout the 2024 season. And while he is the defending MVP, it’s rare to see many lists rank him as the top quarterback above Patrick Mahomes. However, one recent list did just that.

Fox Sports ranked the Buffalo Bills superstar as the top quarterback entering the 2025 season. The entire top 10 was as follows:

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Should Allen lead the Bills to a Super Bowl victory, it would be hard to rank anyone above him entering the 2026 season.
