Three of the newest members of the New Orleans Saints have chosen their jersey numbers ahead of the team’s 2025 training camp, having been signed as free agents after a series of successful tryouts before the Saints went on their summer break. But who are they?
Cornerback Jayden Price is wearing the No. 28 jersey, having worn No. 23 in college at North Dakota State and in his previous pro experience with the Atlanta Falcons and the UFL’s Houston Renegades. Last year, defensive backs Tre Herndon and Rejzohn Wright used it. But No. 23 now belongs to running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire after the Saints traded star corner Marshon Lattimore last season.

Tight end Seth Green will be wearing No. 42, which has been out of circulation since 2023 when linebacker Ty Summers put it on. Green has mainly used No. 87 in the NFL and with the Renegades, but he also wore No. 47 during a brief stint on the Dallas Cowboys practice squad when Kellen Moore was their offensive coordinator. Both numbers were already taken by tight end Foster Moreau and rookie linebacker Danny Stutsman, respectively.
And finally, offensive lineman Barry Wesley is the new owner of the No. 69 jersey. He’s used it before with the Falcons, the XFL’s Seattle Sea Dragons, and in college at Colorado State. So he’ll probably be staying with it.
