Broncos Wire‘s 90-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at rookie wide receiver Kyrese White, No. 39 on offense.
Note: During the offseason, offensive and defensive players can share a number. White is currently sharing No. 39 with cornerback Joshua Pickett. If they both make the 53-man roster, one of them will have to change their number before the regular season.

Before the Broncos: White (5-10, 185 pounds) spent three years at Utah before transferring to Utah State. He had a breakout season in 2024, totaling 44 receptions for 526 yards and three touchdowns. He also made an impact on special teams with eight kickoff returns for 188 yards and one blocked punt. White ran a 40-yard dash in 4.56 seconds at the Aggies’ pro day.
Broncos tenure: White did not hear his name during the 2025 NFL draft, but he was invited to try out as one of 29 rookie players during the Denver Broncos rookie minicamp. White impressed enough for Broncos coaches to sign him to the 90-man offseason roster this spring.
Chances to make the 53-man roster: Long shot. White comes in solidly at the bottom of the Broncos’ depth chart prior to training camp. White has a huge uphill climb, especially behind veterans like A.T. Perry, Michael Bandy and other undrafted free agents like Joaquin Davis,  Jerjuan Newton and Courtney Jackson. Perry has yet to practice with the team, so if White can bring it during training camp and impress in preseason contests, the rookie could impress enough to win a spot. He’s likely competing for a role on the practice squad.
