The Seattle Seahawks are in an excellent position against the salary cap heading into the 2025 campaign. With training camp slated to begin in less than three weeks, GM John Schneider is equipped with approximately $30.6 million in cap space, per OverTheCap. That’s partially thanks to team-friendly contracts all throughout the roster.

With that in mind, we’ve identified the three most team-friendly deals, rookies excluded.

Olu Oluwatimi, C

The Seahawks drafted Olu Oluwatimi in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft. The former Michigan standout remains on an affordable four-year rookie contract through 2026. Oluwatimi is the favorite to start at center this season, though Jalen Sundell and Christian Haynes have earned reps at that position during the offseason, too. The in-house favorite carries a cap charge of $1.2 million this season.

Tyrice Knight IV, LB

Linebacker Tyrice Knight IV performed admirably down the stretch of his rookie 2024 campaign, recording 88 tackles. The sophomore Knight is now an unquestioned starter next to Ernest Jones IV at off-ball linebacker, and he’ll cost just $1.1 million in 2025. He’s signed through 2027.

Josh Jobe, CB

The Seahawks re-signed Josh Jobe earlier this offseason after he replaced Tre Brown as a starter midway through last season. The expectation is that Jobe will start opposite Riq Woolen outside with Devon Witherspoon commanding the nickel spot. He’s on a team-friendly one-year contract worth just $2 million, with a cap hit of $1.8 million.
