Starting on Monday, we brought you our annual consensus draft prospect ranking based on lists from five sources: ESPN, Pro Football Focus, CBS Sports, Pro Football Network and Draftek. On Friday, we updated that list following the first round — and now with Day 3 in front of us, we’re taking our final look at the top 100 prospects still available.
Below the table, we’ll detail some hits (and misses) from Friday night’s picks.

As we begin the draft’s fourth round, all of the players with second-round rankings have been taken. Meanwhile, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is the last remaining player with a first-round ranking.
13 players who were expected to be taken in the third round also remain on the board. These include offensive tackle Marcus Mbow, wide receiver Jalen Royals, edge rusher Jack Sawyer, running back Cam Skattebo, tight end Gunnar Helm and defensive tackles Joshua Farmer and CJ West.
A significant number of players have been selected earlier than the rankings would have predicted. The Denver Broncos reached 86 picks to take wide receiver Pat Bryant with the 74th pick. The Houston Texans took cornerback Jaylin Smith with the 97th selection, which was 93 spots earlier than our prospect ranking would have predicted. But both of these paled in comparison to the San Francisco 49ers reaching 141 spots to take linebacker Nick Martin at 75, the Las Vegas Raiders taking tackle Caleb Rogers 142 spots early at 98 and the Minnesota Vikings using the 80th selection to acquire cornerback Justin Walley, which was 173 picks earlier than expected.
With their four picks, the Kansas City Chiefs have reached an average of 12.5 picks ahead of expectation, which is a bit under the league average of 12.8 through four rounds, ranking 18th. So far, the Atlanta Falcons have the best average (-17.0), followed by the Baltimore Ravens (-11.7) and the Arizona Cardinals (-10.7). The Detroit Lions (37.33), 49ers (62.5) and Vikings (65.0) bring up the rear.
Kansas City now has five picks remaining:
Round 4 (133)
Round 5 (164 — from Philadelphia, through Cleveland and Detroit)
Round 7 (226 — from Carolina)
Round 7 (251 — compensatory)
Round 7 (257 — compensatory, final selection of draft)
