The Kansas City Chiefs reunited with veteran running back Kareem Hunt last season after initially selecting him with the No. 86 pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft.

When his first stint with the Chiefs ended, Hunt went East to play for the Cleveland Browns from 2019 until 2023.

Hunt signed with Kansas City as a free agent on September 16, 2024, after star running back Isiah Pacheco sustained an injury that left the Chiefs’ backfield in need of a consistent rusher.

Upon returning to Kansas City, the former Toledo Rockets standout put together one of the best regular season campaigns of his career, racking up 728 yards on 200 carries and scoring seven touchdowns in 13 total games played.
