Speaking with reporters on Friday, Packers rookie wide receiver Savion Williams shared his thoughts on becoming a member of the Green Bay Packers. He reflected on his childhood and growing up watching Aaron Rodgers.
“When I was a kid, just watching Aaron Rodgers, it’s a dream,” Williams said.
Williams was selected by the Packers in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He contributed as both a wide receiver and a backfield option at TCU. Williams likely would have been a weapon Aaron Rodgers would have enjoyed working with, adding an extra dynamic element to the offense.
