The University of Notre Dame has historically had one of the top football programs in the country. The program’s prestige is a huge draw for recruits, and this includes the kids of former NFL players. The latest round of 2026 recruits features three more top prospects who have NFL lineage.
On Sunday, ESPN reporter Adam Schefter reported the following three Notre Dame recruits and their famous fathers:

WR Devin Fitzgerald, son of former Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald
LB Thomas Davis Jr., son of former All-Pro linebacker Thomas Davis
WR Kaydon Finley, son of former NFL tight end Jermichael Finley
Fitzgerald and Finley will be part of a Notre Dame wide receiver room that has two other players with NFL dads. Notre Dame legend Jerome Bettis’ son, Jerome Jr., is a wide receiver with the Fighting Irish. This is in addition to Elijah Burress, son of former NFL wide receiver Plaxico Burress.
