Did Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider do enough to boost his offensive line this offseason? That question will be answered throughout the 2025 campaign. Until further notice, offensive lineman will be considered a focus-area ahead of next offseason as well.

Pro Football Network recently released a three-round 2026 NFL mock draft. In the first round, the Seahawks take Utah Utes offensive tackle Spencer Fano at No. 15 overall.

“The Seattle Seahawks’ run offense was among the worst in the NFL last season, and much of that falls on the offensive line,” PFN wrote. “Here, they can attack that weakness by selecting Spencer Fano.

“Fano isn’t the best pass-blocking offensive tackle in this class, but standing at 6’5″, 302 pounds, he’s physically imposing and possesses elite play strength. He was one of the country’s best run-blocking tackles in 2024 and would be a great fit alongside Charles Cross in Seattle.”

PFN essentially has Fano replacing Abe Lucas at right tackle. Lucas is entering a make-or-break season in 2025. If the oft-injured blocker fails to stay healthy and perform this season, Schneider will undeniably enter the market for his replacement next offseason.

Meanwhile Charles Cross is expected to sign a lucrative multi-year contract extension. Deciding on Cross’ long-term bookend partner is a must this season. Hopefully that’s Lucas. If not, right tackle will be a high priority next offseason.
