The first Denver Broncos player to make the NFL Top 100 list in 2025 is … defensive lineman Zach Allen!

Allen made the list after a player vote to name their top 100 peers. He is ranked No. 90 after earning second-team All-Pro recognition last fall. The 27-year-old lineman had a career year in 2024, totaling 61 tackles, 40 quarterback hits, 8.5 sacks, one safety and one pass breakup in 16 games.

Last year, Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain was ranked No. 52 on the list. Surtain will undoubtedly make the list again in 2025, and after winning Defensive Player of the Year in 2024, he’ll likely be ranked much higher than No. 52.

Other contenders to make the list on Denver’s roster include guard Quinn Meinerz, do-everything-weapon Marvin Mims and pass rusher Nik Bonitto. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix impressed as a rookie last season, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him waiting another year before cracking the Top 100 list.

We’ll find out for sure in the coming weeks as two players are unveiled in the rankings each weekday through Aug. 29. The top 10 players will be unveiled on Sept. 1.
