We are conducting polls as we go through our annual training camp previews by position for the Cleveland Browns. Here is a recap of the results from the running back position:
I began Part 1 of our running back preview by taking a poll on how many rushing fans think rookie second-round pick Quinshon Judkins will have in 2025. 50% of fans think he’ll crack the 1,000-yard mark as a rookie, while 45% think he’ll have between 700-999 yards. It’s not difficult for a back to accumulate 1,000 rushing yards over an 18-game season if they are the full-time starter and remain healthy, as that is only 55+ yards rushing per game. Some fans cautioned the century mark, though, based on believing Cleveland will rotate their backs.

We also asked who fans think will win the backup running back job. Despite Jerome Ford being the veteran, he only received 35% of the votes. Rookie fourth-round pick Dylan Sampson had 65% of the vote for fans thinking he’ll win the backup job.

In Part 2 of our running back preview, we started off with asking who fans would keep if necessary as a fourth running back (or third running back, if something happens happens atop the depth chart to someone). Pierre Strong still holds favor over the undrafted Ahmani Marshall, 67% to 33%.
