Thursday Injury Report
The Seahawks practiced without four players on Thursday afternoon due to injury. Three of the four players to miss practice also missed practice on Wednesday afternoon, including running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker is still dealing with an oblique injury that he suffered in the win over the Broncos in Week 1. If Walker is unable to suit up on Sunday, Zach Charbonnet would be expected to step in his place.
After being limited on Wednesday, tight end Pharaoh Brown was held out on Thursday. Brown is working his way back from a foot injury with the hopes of making his Seahawks’ debut against his former team, the New England Patriots. Tackle George Fant exited the Week 1 win vs. the Broncos with a knee injury and was not able to return. After missing practice on Wednesday, Fant was unable to practice again on Thursday.
Linebacker Tyrel Dodson, who is coming off a strong performance in his Seahawks’ debut, missed the first practice of the week with a shoulder injury but was able to make it back on Thursday in a limited capacity. Also limited on Thursday were cornerbacks Riq Woolen and Tre Brown, linebackers Jerome Baker and Dre’Mont Jones, and wide receiver Tyler Lockett.
Tight end Noah Fant had been limited in recent practices with a toe injury but was able to full practice on Thursday.
The Patriots had nine players limited on Thursday after having eight players limited in practice on Wednesday. Among the players limited are safeties Kyle Dugger and Jabrill Peppers. Both players are dealing with lower body injuries. The only player to miss practice was guard Sidy Sow who also missed Wednesday’s practice due to an ankle injury.
