This focuses on receiver Michael Wilson.
Michael Wilson background, 2024 season
Wilson enters his third season in the NFL and with the Cardinals. he was third-round pick in 2023 out of Stanford.
As a rookie in 2023, he played in 13 games and caught 38 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
With the goal to play in all 17 games in 2024, he fell a game short, missing the season finale with a hamstring injury. He had 47 receptions for 548 yards and four touchdowns.
Michael Wilson 2025 contract details, cap hit
Wilson is scheduled to make more than $1.23 million in 2025. His cap hit will be less than $1.5 million.
Questions he faces and roster outlook
Wilson has been reliable but has not broken out yet. Quarterback Kyler Murray believes Wilson can be a 1,000-yard receiver. Can he take another step forward and be a solid No. 3 option in the passing game behind tight end Trey McBride and receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.?
He is a lock for the active roster and will be a starter again in 2025.
