The first snaps of training camp are still weeks away, yet some outlets have already begun looking ahead to what teams will focus on next offseason. The latest to tackle this type of prognostication is Pro Football Network (PFN), as they took a turn with a 2026 mock draft.Â
The Tennessee Titans could go in many directions next offseason. They enter 2025 with numerous unanswered questions on both sides of the ball, and they remain a truly unknown entity as we sit here today.Â
Optimistically, the Titans take a step forward this season and rise from the depths of the NFL cellar. However, most outlets don’t see that happening, which would squarely place head coach Brian Callahan on the hot seat, and that could sway every decision moving forward into the offseason. Even with significant questions, Max Dorsey of PFN believes that Tennessee will address the offensive line with their top selection in the 2026 NFL draft.
4) Tennessee Titans
Peter Woods, DT, Clemson
The Tennessee Titans have Jeffery Simmons under contract through 2027, and pairing him with Clemson’s Peter Woods would give them one of the NFL‘s scariest defensive fronts.
At 6’3″, 315 pounds, Woods is built like a brick house. He has violent hands and is a monster in the run game, but his athleticism also gives him promise as a pass rusher. Woods can line up everywhere on the Tigers’ defensive line, and that versatility should make him a highly coveted interior prospect.
Dorsey didn’t stop with the first round in his mock, as he broke down rounds two and three of the 2026 NFL draft as well. In the second round, the Titans went back to Clemson for cornerback Avieon Terrell and then closed out Day 2 with the selection of wide receiver Kevin Concepcion, of Texas A&M in the third round.Â
Examining the Titans’ roster, the positions targeted in this mock do make sense and could likely be needs when the draft arrives. The addition of Woods could take the defensive line to another level. With Simmons and T’Vondre Sweat under contract, Tennessee could be looking for a dynamic player to add to the mix with 2025 starter Sebastian Joseph-Day scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in 2026.Â
No matter what happens record-wise this season, Tennessee must add competition and solid depth across its roster, and this class would definitely do that.Â
