ESPN’s Bill Barnwell has released his rankings of all 32 offensive cores, and he does not think to highly of the skill players the Cleveland Browns will be fielding in 2025.
And who can really blame him?

The Browns are set to roll out quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett to start training camp, are going to start two rookie running backs, and do not have an established pass catcher on the roster outside of Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku. There are a ton of uncertainties on the offensive side of the ball for the Browns.
Barnwell touched on all of these in his article. The Browns will once again need to lean heavily on Jeudy and Njoku in 2025. Former Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins will be tasked with a massive amount of carries immediately as well after being selected in the second round to replace the Cleveland icon Nick Chubb.
Barnwell also highlights where each team’s core skill players have ranked over the prior two years as well, and the Browns have fallen from 13th, to 20th, to now 29th in the NFL. Only the Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, and Carolina Panthers slotted below the Browns.
Can the Browns prove Barnwell wrong? For now, it’s hard to argue against Barnwell.
