Bengals Beat Podcast: Bengals 2025 Schedule

Bengals Beat Reporter Kelsey Conway discusses the upcoming 2025 Bengals schedule.

After the Cincinnati Bengalswin against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18 on January 4, they needed the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Denver Broncos the following day, in addition to a New York Jets‘ win or tie against the Miami Dolphins in order to make the NFL playoffs.

“Quarterback,” the Netflix documentary with a new season featuring Joe Burrow, showed the Bengals’ quarterback watching hopelessly as the Chiefs rested many of their starters against Denver. The Broncos went on to win 38-0, eliminating Cincinnati from playoff contention.

“Anything can happen any given day,” Burrow says in the seventh episode, while watching the Chiefs and Broncos from his couch. “It’s obviously frustrating, but we put ourselves in this position.”

“It’s tough to win a game without playing any of your starters,” Burrow says as he watches Denver take an early lead with a touchdown.

Burrow laughs as the Broncos go ahead by two touchdowns.

“I mean, not great,” Burrow says as he eats a sandwich. “But there’s nothing I can do about it. All I can do is sit here and watch.”

“It’s offseason pretty much,” Burrow adds as the Broncos win and advance to the playoffs. “Which in ways is a relief, and also frustrating and annoying, and a lot of different things. You didn’t ultimately do what you wanted to do, and that was – it’s not great. But when you get to an offseason healthy, that’s a weight off your shoulders, I’d say. I’ve had a lot of not healthy offseasons.”
