Terry Bradshaw isn’t letting his beloved Steelers off the hook — to him, they botched the Kenny Pickett experiment.
Bradshaw appeared on last week’s episode of the To The Point – Home Services podcast and explained why the Steelers failed in developing Pickett — pointing to other QB comeback stories as evidence:

“Baker Mayfield is in Tampa Bay playing great now, because you got talent around him,” Bradshaw said. “Steelers get rid of Kenny Pickett. A first-rounder, got rid of him after two years. And they’re still looking for a quarterback. They didn’t even do anything to build around him. Sam Darnold goes into Minnesota — look at all those weapons. All those weapons, and look what happened. How great did he play.”
Pickett’s time in Pittsburgh was short-lived, starting just 23 games in his two seasons. He later requested a trade after the Steelers signed Russell Wilson in the 2024 offseason.
The Steelers have been searching for their next franchise QB since Ben Roethlisberger retired in 2022 — and while Aaron Rodgers is a much-needed pit stop on what’s been a long and frustrating journey, the 2026 NFL Draft could be the final destination.
