New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins showed off his impressive strength in a recent workout video posted on social media.
The veteran wideout signed with the Patriots in free agency, and like most players, he is using his break to prepare for training camp. You won’t see too many receivers lifting the kind of weight Hollins does in a weight room. Keep in mind, he’s doing all of the workouts barefoot.

Hollins had a log lift of 190 pounds, an axle bar deadlift of 573 pounds, a dumbbell press of 132 pounds and a sled pull of 738 pounds. The Patriots are hoping he uses that power to box out defenders and win in jump-ball situations on the field.
Hollins is a true professional with eight years of NFL experience under his belt.
He hauled in 31 receptions for 378 yards and five touchdowns for the Buffalo Bills last season. Perhaps the most notable statistic is the fact that he had a career season with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as his head coach with the Las Vegas Raiders. In 2022, he racked up 57 catches for 690 yards and four touchdowns.

The Patriots don’t need Hollins to put up big receiving numbers. They simply need a reliable target to score in the red zone and potentially threaten the deeper parts of the field.
Hollins is an underrated receiver who can do both.
