ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is working through his annual survey that he sends around the league to slot players into rankings, and Cleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit received some love.

While Delpit did not cut a top-10 safety in the NFL from the survey sent to NFL coaches and executives, he did receive votes and was tabbed with some other underrated safeties. Other safeties who also received votes but did not crack the top-10 or honorable mentions include Denver Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga, Jalen Pitre of the Houston Texans, Kyle Dugger of the New England Patriots, and more.

Delpit is now entering the second year of his new extension he received from the Browns during the 2023 season. He racked up a career-high in tackles, tackles for loss, and quarterback hits this past season.

As the Browns look to bounce back in an uncertain 2025 season, they will need Delpit to be a consistent rock with new faces around him. Entering the season at just 27 years old as well, Delpit could just play himself into another contract extension next season with another solid season in Cleveland.

Delpit joins Myles Garrett as the only two members of the Browns to be named in these surveys thus far.
