Penn State fans, United can take you to Columbus.
The airline announced it will be adding 24 nonstop flights throughout the college football season to “some of the biggest games,” and the Nittany Lions trip to Ohio State on Nov. 1 is one of them.

“From historic touchdowns to once-in-a-lifetime plays, these are the moments fans never forget and there’s nothing like being there to witness it live,” said James Starnes, Director of Domestic Scheduling at United. “We’ve added flights across the country to some of the biggest college football matchups, giving fans more options to get in on the action and follow their team on the road this season.”
The State College Regional Airport currently offers direct flights to just three destinations — Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington Dulles — making the addition of this nonstop flight convenient for fans looking to attend the potential top-five matchup.
Penn State at Ohio State is the only game featuring the Nittany Lions that made the cut.
