We’re in the middle of that lull between the end of the NBA season and the start of the NFL season where not a whole lot of high-stakes sports action is really going on. Fortunately, ESPN’s Malika Andrews is find ways to have fun.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Andrews shared some recent photos of herself and her husband, ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, at Citizens Bank Park for a recent Philadelphia Phillies game. The two weren’t alone as NBA analysts Richard Jefferson and Doris Burke joined them in their box seats for the occasion.
There were also some photos and videos from her recent appearances at WNBA games to see Caitlin Clark, a cute photo with her sister Kendra, some time at the bowling alley with ESPN’s Hilary Guy and some video from the pool.
Andrews’ many fans, but particularly Phillies fans, were delighted to see her supporting the team:
“Go Phils!! @davemcten hope you have converted Malika into a full on Phanatic,” one user declared.
“Go Phillies!” wrote another.
“Summer of Meeks!!!” Kendra wrote.
“Looking good guys. One of my favorite couples.”

It’s definitely a good time to be a Phillies fan. The team is 53-39, tied with the Mets for first-place in the AL East and regularly enjoying some the highest attendance in the sport.
But baseball is about to have its All-Star Break, which means we’re going to have a solid week or so without any games whatsoever in four of America’s five biggest sports.
Let’s hope we can all retain our sanity.
