MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A 16-year-old is being treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration at the hospital following football practice.
The boy’s mother says he passed out on the football field at Bolton High School on Monday.
The boy was rushed to the ICU at Le Bonheur where he’s being treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration.
Action News 5 has reached out to Memphis-Shelby County Schools for comment and if any precautions are being taken during the extreme heat.
