For the last three years, Rogers has traveled back to his home state to host youth football camps and other community events.
“I was born and raised here, so it means. It means the most to me, you know, because this community, they raised me, they’ve seen me grow. They see me in all of my profession. So just to come back and show them that, you know, I care about them, I appreciate them. That’s the least I can do,” said Rogers.
“It’s just being able to share my platform to give them a platform to get exposure and get experience and just to be seen, you know, I think that’s something that I wanted as a kid, and we really didn’t have these many opportunities. So now, you know, on the other side, I just want to give them give that to them,” he added.
