The uniform design draws inspiration from the ones Washington wore during all three of the franchise’s Super Bowl wins in 1982, 1987 and 1991. The white jersey features burgundy numbers with gold outlines and gold stripes on the sleeves. The players’ nameplates will have burgundy letters with the same gold outline. The burgundy pants and socks will include gold and white stripes.

The helmet will have the iconic look of the 1980s and 1990s alongside the team’s current logo. It will have a gold face mask as well as white and gold stripes down the center of the helmet.

“These uniforms honor the most successful era of our franchise — one that reflects a culture of excellence and encompasses many historical moments and special memories amongst our fanbase,” Clouse said. “We look forward to bringing that nostalgic feeling back to fans, while incorporating a modern feel for our next generation of fans.”
