Indianapolis Colts’ safety Cam Bynum recently shared some photos of himself on his Instagram account training with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.
The 46-year-old Pacquiao is coming out of retirement to face Mario Barrios on July 19th.

Bynum–along with cornerback Charvarius Ward–was one of the Colts‘ major offseason additions, with general manager Chris Ballard signing the free agent safety to a four-year, $60 million deal.
Bynum brings impressive ball production to the Colts’ secondary, along with versatility, allowing him to fill a variety of roles, a skill set that is quite valuable in Lou Anarumo’s disguise-heavy defensive scheme.
“Another guy that’s got a bunch of different skill sets that can help us,” Anarumo said of Bynum. “He started out as a corner, so he’s got some coverage ability. He’s always been able to take the ball away. He’s been a consistent tackler. He’s super smart. He’s played in a few systems, so he has a good feel for a little bit of everything, just in terms of not one particular defense.”

The Colts’ rookies will report for training camp on July 21st, the veterans on July 22nd, and the first practice will take place on July 23rd.
