A pizzeria in Western New York is guaranteeing the Buffalo Bills will win their next playoff game.
WIVB reports Pesci’s Pizza & Wings in Williamsville is going viral with a special offer on Facebook: If you preorder a large pizza and 20 wings or a large pizza and a pound of boneless wings between Tuesday and Thursday, you’ll get your money back if the Bills lose to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The refund will be in the form of a Pesci’s e-gift card texted to the phone number the order is placed from.
“We Guarantee the Bills beat the Ravens or your Money Back,” the restaurant said.
The offer is only available for online orders through Thursday with promo code: “Josh4MVP.” (In case you couldn’t tell, that’s a reference to Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who’s already MVP in the Bills Mafia’s hearts and making the case for the NFL honor.)
Pesci’s said fans will have to pick up their food early Sunday because doors will close at 6 p.m. so staff can get home to enjoy the game. The Bills and Ravens are facing off in the AFC divisional round at 6:30 p.m. on CBS.
The pizzeria clarified in a followup post: If the Bills win, fans get nothing — except, of course, the joy of a belly full of food and seeing their favorite NFL team advance to the AFC championship.
