Here’s how to help flood survivors in Central Texas

Miller, who’s entering his third season in the NFL, was all smiles as he gave away the backpacks and signed cards, footballs and jerseys for kids and adults.

He was a standout running back at Mount Enterprise before starring at TCU, where he helped lead the Horned Frogs to the 2023 National Championship against Georgia.

Miller has dealt with injuries during his first two NFL seasons but he’s excited to be healthy and ready to roll for training camp at the end of July.

Miller said it feels good to come back to East Texas and make a positive impact on the next generation.

“Man the smile on their face says it all. I’m just happy to give back to everything, especially like because this is where I started and just to be able to give back is just the biggest thing for me and just to see the smile on their face like I said, that’s what gets me happy because I can impact their life and just keep them motivated to do good in life. I mean, that’s all it is to me honestly,” Miller said.

Miller and the Saints start training camp Wednesday, July 23 and kick off the preseason Sunday, Aug. 10 at the Los Angeles Chargers with kickoff set for 3 p.m.
