The New York Giants are sending Waller and a 2027 conditional seventh-round draft pick to the Miami Dolphins for a 2026 sixth-round selection, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday, per sources informed of the trade. The Dolphins-Giants trade was made official with its inclusion on the league wire Monday.

Waller, 32, retired last offseason in June after eight NFL seasons. In his career, Waller has 350 receptions, 4,124 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns, including one Pro Bowl nod. He’ll now unretire and be playing in the AFC East after spending one year away from the game.
