As anticipation builds for one of Netflix’s biggest football-related releases, Dallas Cowboys fans got another look at the upcoming docuseries titled “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys.”

Netflix released a new trailer for the docuseries Monday, breaking down a few clips of key moments through Jerry Jones’ ownership run. A narration of William Ernest Henley’s poem “Invictus” played in the background of the one-minute, five-second-long clip.

The docuseries, which is set for release on Aug. 19, is based on Jones and the team’s run of Super Bowl success in the 1990s. The series was first announced in May 2024.

Netflix’s newest Cowboys-related venture will feature eight 45-minute episodes. Key names like Jones, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, and head coaches Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer will form pivotal parts of the story.
