The Seattle Seahawks made one of the biggest splashes in the 2025 NFL draft when they selected rookie quarterback Jalen Milroe in the third round. Milroe became only the third quarterback drafted by John Schneider, and the highest taken since Russell Wilson (also in the third round) during the 2012 NFL draft.

The plan is for Milroe to sit behind Sam Darnold, who head coach Mike Macdonald has repeatedly affirmed is the starter. However, the 12th Man will still get a chance to see Milroe in action this year as he will undoubtedly see the field in some capacity. Remember, Seattle’s new offensive coordinator is Klint Kubiak, who worked with another athletically gifted jack-of-all-trades backup quarterback with Taysom Hill of the Saints.

Fortunately for the 12’s, they won’t have to wait until September (or August in the preseason) to get their first glimpse at Jalen Milroe rocking the Seahawks’ college navy and neon. Seattle’s official Twitter account shared a photo of him wearing his typical home uniform for the first time.

Seattle will begin their training camp on Wednesday, July 23rd. Then they will kick off the preseason against Pete Carroll’s Las Vegas Raiders at home on Thursday, August 7th.
