Washington is one of four finalists for three-star Oakland (Calif.) McClymonds cornerback Rahsjon Duncan, who has his commitment date set for July 20.

Duncan, a 6-foot-1, 186-pound prospect, took his final official visit to UW one month prior to his scheduled decision, and since then, the Huskies have been considered the favorite to land the Bay Area product.

Arizona, Arizona State, and UCLA join UW as the four schools Duncan will choose between, all of which got the chance to host the talented, long outside cornerback this past spring to make their case.

The Huskies joined the race late compared to the other three programs, but safeties coach Taylor Mays, secondary coach John Richardson, and director of recruiting Marcus Griffin have made up a significant amount of ground after formally offering the 2026 recruit on June 10.

“Duncan is on the short list when talking about the most physical defensive backs out West,” 247Sports’ Greg Biggins wrote in an evaluation of the three-star recruit.

“He’s a pure corner but hits like a safety, and with his frame and play style, we could easily see him grow into the position. Shows excellent cover instincts and hits like a truck in run support. His versatility is definitely a strength, and not only is he capable of playing anywhere in the secondary, he’s skilled enough at receiver to play at the Power Four level on offense as well.”

Duncan would give UW six defensive back commits in this year’s cycle should he choose to play for Jedd Fisch and the Huskies, a position of need for the coaching staff as they look to replenish the position for the short and long term through the high school ranks.
