Licht, 54, has been in his post since 2014, while Bowles has been the team’s head coach since 2022 after three seasons as its defensive coordinator.

The Bucs have enjoyed five straight seasons that ended in playoff berths, the longest such stretch in franchise history.

Tampa Bay has also won the NFC South in each of the last four seasons, a franchise first, and can become the first team to do so five straight times in 2025.

Bowles, 61, is the first head coach to guide the Buccaneers to three straight division titles. The Buccaneers also claimed their second Super Bowl championship at the end of the 2020 season.

Tampa Bay is the only team in the NFC to make the playoffs each of the last five years, and one of only three in the NFL, joining Buffalo and Kansas City.

“Jason and Todd’s excellent leadership and vision have been critical to our organizational success, and the winning culture they have established has us well positioned into the future,” said Buccaneers Owner/Co-Chairman Joel Glazer.  “Jason has evolved into one of the top talent evaluators and general managers in the NFL, while Todd has led us to three consecutive division titles and is one of the league’s leading defensive minds. Under their guidance, we will continue building towards another championship.”

The Bucs, preparing for their 50th NFL season,  report to camp in late July with rookies arriving on July 21 and veterans a day later.
