CLEVELAND, Ohio – In a nod to the future, the city of Cleveland on Tuesday issued a call out for developers to dream up ideas for a downtown lakefront without a space-consuming, little-used football stadium.
Eliminating the stadium would double the property available to create a more inviting and exciting place for people to live, work and play, Mayor Justin Bibb said during a briefing ahead of the announcement.
