It’s safe to say that the NFC East as a whole had a wonderful draft. The Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Commanders all came away with some of the top players from the 2025 draft class last week.
There can only be one winner when judging each particular draft class, though.

And in the case of the Eagles, their ability to find late-round steals and quality stars early, has left them in a familiar spot – expanding the gap between their rivals in the NFC East even more.
Pro Football Focus’ Bradley Locker made that point clear when he ranked Philadelphia’s haul as the best in the NFC East last week.
“Much like the (Kansas Chiefs), the Eagles seem to nail the draft every spring, reloading for yet another title run,” Locker said. “The defending champs selected a strong blend of early-round rookies and tantalizing depth. General manager Howie Roseman pulled off a heist by taking Jihaad Campbell (81.6 PFF overall grade), who fell to the 31st overall pick and should now form an elite duo with Zack Baun at linebacker.”
Worth noting: Another PFF story has come out that gives the Dallas Cowboys an “A+” for their draft. So …

The Eagles are better than “A+”?
Dallas and Philly both seems to accomplish their goals in this selection process.
Oh, and it’s worth noting that the New York Giants came away with Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart as first-rounders. That merits and good mark, too.
But back to the Eagles …
Whether it was Campbell or second round safety Andrew Mukuba, the Eagles came away with some elite talent across the ball last week. They also brought in developmental offensive linemen for Jeff Stoutland to continue to train.
If things go the way they are expected to, the Eagles will be in a position to be the first repeat champion in the division since 2004. And that may just kick off another golden age of Eagles football.
