The Seahawks added to speed and playmaking to their receiver room in the fifth-round of the 2025 NFL Draft, selecting Colorado State wide receiver Tory Horton with pick No. 166.

Horton, a two-time captain at Colorado State played in 30 games, scoring 20 touchdowns and had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2023 and 2023 before a knee injury cut short his 2024 campaign.

Even coming off a season-ending injury in 2024, Horton was able to run a 4.41-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, and Horton said he ran in the 4.3s prior to the injury.

Horton, a first-team All-Mountain West selection as a receiver in 2022 and 2023 also returned punts at Colorado State, gaining 423 yards on 26 career returns, and he had a punt return touchdown in each of the past three seasons.
