If you believe in karma, then you will be happy to know that the Patriots will be staying at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Ariz.

That is a positive why? It’s the same place the New York Giants stayed in February of 2008, when the New Yorkers KO’d previously unbeaten New England for the title.

The Pats will have a busy Monday on tap, hitting City Hall in Boston at 11 a.m. for a rally-sendoff. They then fly out to Arizona, beating Tuesday’s storm.

There will be some media access Monday night at the hotels as the teams arrive. Be sure to catch Tuesday’s Eagle-Tribune and hang tight at www.eagletribune.com to stay with us as news breaks. Bill Burt, Mary Schwalm and I will be on the ground in Phoenix before the Pats arrive Monday.

Remember to follow us all on Twitter, @mvcreature, @burttalkssports and @zooshooter, along with @eagletrib.

SMART CHOICE BY NFL

I will give the NFL credit for moving the media day from the stadium in Glendale to the U.S. Airways Center in downtown Phoenix on Tuesday.

It saves a trip out to the suburbs and keeps folks in the host city.

Remember, they’ll be plenty of coverage from Tuesday’s media day from us, including videos, highlights, stories and so much more here in print and at www.eagletribune.com.

IF YOU’RE GOING

Finally, if you are headed to Phoenix for the game and would like to talk about it, email bburt@eagletribune.com. We’d love to know all about your plans, how you got to the game and how you planning on celebrating.

THE BEAUTY OF ALL THIS

Following the Pats so deep into the season is great one for huge reason. It helps get us all through winter. That means a lot with a true Nor’easter bearing down on us … well, bearing down on all of you … Tuesday.

Remember, only four weeks until pitchers and catchers report to Fort Myers for spring training.

PATRIOTS QUOTE OF THE DAY

“It’ll be nice to be in some 70-degree weather. That’s always nice. (We’ll) go out there and try to win the last game.

— Pats Receiver Julian Edelman

SEAHAWKS QUOTE OF THE DAY

“(My relationship with Bill Belichick) is not awkward. It could be but it isn’t. Bill and I have talked a lot over the years on various things and I’ve seen him at the league meetings and things like that so it’s not a problem at all. It probably is pretty unique to this business but it’s no factor at all.”

— Seahawks coach Pete Carroll
