Former Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller has made his free agent decision.

The 36-year-old pass rusher announced on Wednesday evening that he will sign with the Washington Commanders. “DC… What’s good? 😎🏆,” Miller captioned a tweet showing himself in a Commanders uniform wearing No. 24, a nod to former teammate Champ Bailey. He also shared a photo of Bailey on his Instagram page.

Miller spent the first ten and a half years of his career with the Broncos, helping the team win Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 season. After taking home Super Bowl MVP honors, Miller went on to spend five and a half more years in Denver before being traded to the Los Angeles Rams.

Miller won a second Super Bowl with the Rams and then had a stint with the Buffalo Bills from 2022-2024. After signing with the Commanders, he is set to face the Broncos on Sunday Night Football in Week 13 this fall (view the full schedule).

Miller ranks No. 1 in Denver history with 110.5 sacks, and his 129.5 career sacks rank 16th on the NFL’s all-time list. Miller is nine sacks away from joining DeMarcus Ware in the top ten on the league’s all-time list.
