This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Washington Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner is one of the NFL’s top 100 players.

On Thursday, the NFL revealed the latest players on its countdown of top 100 players, and the future Hall of Famer came in at No. 74.

In the NFL’s video, Eagles All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson praised Wagner, specifically his ability to diagnose every play before the snap. Teammates Brian Robinson Jr. and Quan Martin praised Wagner’s excellence and his leadership.

In his first season with the Commanders in 2024 — and 13th in the NFL — Wagner recorded 132 tackles, including 10 for loss, two sacks, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and eight quarterback hits. He was named to the Pro Bowl for the 10th time and second-team All-Pro. Wagner has been a six-time first-team All-Pro and a five-time second-team All-Pro. It was the 13th consecutive season that Wagner recorded 100 tackles or more, tying former Washington great London Fletcher for the longest streak in NFL history.

Wagner will play his 14th NFL season in 2025 after the Commanders re-signed him in March.
