Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano received similar praise and criticism in ESPN’s annual offseason poll once again in 2025.

Each offseason, ESPN polls NFL coaches and front office executives and players are ranked position-by-position. The top-10 off-ball linebacker poll did not include Milano this time.

Milano, 30, is a previous All-Pro selection but most of his career has seen injuries follow him.

Milano’s skills are praised in the poll as he was named among the “honorable mentions.” Again, he was not in the top-10 rankings and much of that has to do with his injury concerns.

Milano’s injuries will be a focal point in 2025 as he reworked his contract and will now be a free agent following next season.

If he remains healthy, there is a chance he remains in Buffalo beyond that.

The full breakdown on Milano can be found below:

Matt Milano, Buffalo Bills: “One of my favorites when healthy. He’s so important to Buffalo. Great communicator, great in pass coverage. Just can’t stay on the field.” — NFL coordinator
