The Kansas City Chiefs signed linebacker Cam Jones as a free agent after the 2023 NFL draft.
A former Indiana Hoosiers star, Jones is something of an enigma in Kansas City’s linebacking corps, having made one start in each of his first two regular-season campaigns with the Chiefs.

Though Jones has never played a particularly important or consistent role in Steve Spagnuolo’s defense, Kansas City’s front office and coaching staff seem to like what they’ve seen from him to this point in his career.
In 34 total regular-season games played, Jones has recorded 36 combined tackles and one quarterback hit.
