Brown County has scored big with the economic impacts following the 2025 NFL Draft.
The City of Green Bay has announced that Brown County, as a whole, experienced a $79.9 million economic influx as a result of the draft at the end of April, shattering previous expectations.
Ahead of the draft, a $20 million economic impact was estimated; however, the numbers are in, and that estimate was nearly quadrupled.
The draft brought in 362,588 unique visitors to the city, with over 80% of those visitors rating Titletown as an “excellent” host city for the event.
Over the three-day draft experience, overall attendance has been estimated to be 600,000 fans from across the country and the world.
In their statement, Green Bay city officials expressed gratitude for the team effort needed to pull this off.
They said, “From Lambeau Field to downtown, from our neighborhoods to our businesses – every part of our community stepped up and showed the world what Green Bay is all about!”
The numbers from the draft show that 31% of attendees were from outside of Wisconsin, 24% paid for overnight lodging, and 83% of those from out of state were visiting Green Bay for the first time.
