Each offseason, ESPN interviews NFL executives, coaches and scouts to have them rank the top 10 players at 11 different positions. ESPN then compiles the data to release a top-10 ranking for each position, complete with honorable mentions and “also received votes” categories.

At quarterback, the top ten ended up being Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Jayden Daniels, Matthew Stafford, Justin Herbert, Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts and Baker Mayfield. There were two honorable mentions behind him — C.J. Stroud and Jordan Love — plus six other QBs who also received votes.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix was listed in the also received votes category. That means at least one executive, coach or scout told ESPN they believe Nix is a top-ten quarterback in the NFL. Even if it was just one vote, it’s impressive that Nix drew that kind of recognition following his rookie season.

Here’s the full list of top ten QBs, honorable mentions and the QBs who also received votes.
