That is shown by the extension the team signed him to.
Even so, the defensive backs in Buffalo did not see much love in ESPN’s annual offseason rankings. ESPN polls NFL coaches and front office members to rank the top players in each positions every summer.

The top-10 cornerbacks in 2025 did not include any Bills players. Only slot cornerback Taron Johnson was noted as a player who earned any votes at all.
