ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WILX) – The Detroit Lions kicked off their 2025 training camp on Sunday morning in Allen Park.
Detroit became the second NFL team to start their training camp this offseason, and now the team builds towards its first preseason game against the Chargers.
Dan Campbell announced that Levi Onwuzurike is out for the season with an ACL tear. Ennis Rakestraw Jr. left practice with a chest injury, and Alex Anzalone is at the facility but isn’t practicing due to his contract dispute.
Detroit Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell remains focused on the offensive line with a few new guys battling for starting jobs throughout training camp.
Detroit will start the preseason in the Hall of Fame Game against the Chargers on July 31 at 8 p.m. on WILX-TV.
