The New England Patriots have swung another trade. After moving up earlier on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft, they have now gone down.

The Patriots sent the 171st overall pick in the fifth round to the Detroit Lions in exchange for picks No. 182 and No. 228 in the sixth and seventh rounds, respectively. Their remaining selections therefore now look as follows:

Round 7, Pick 220
Round 7, Pick 228 (via Detroit Lions)

The Patriots have made six selections so far in this year’s draft. They opened with offensive tackle Will Campbell, who was selected fourth overall in the first round on Thursday. On Friday, they added running back TreVeyon Henderson in the second round followed by wide receiver Kyle Williams and center Jared Wilson in the third.

On Saturday, safety Craig Wilson and defensive linemen Joshua Farmer and Bradyn Swinson joined the mix.
