The Miami Dolphins have speed all over their offense, and undrafted free agent wide receiver Monaray Baldwin is looking to be the team’s newest big-play threat.

Baldwin was a slot receiver during his four seasons at Baylor where he became a key contributor to the Bears offense. In 2023, The Athletic highlighted Baldwin’s athleticism, naming him one of the biggest “Freaks” in college football. On the field, Baldwin averaged 16.9 yards per reception in 44 collegiate games, finding the end zone 15 times: 13 through the air and two on the ground.

He finished his Baylor career with 99 receptions for 1,673 yards and 178 rushing yards on 19 attempts, averaging an impressive 9.4 yards per carry. Baldwin broke out as a sophomore with 33 receptions for 564 yards, four receiving touchdowns, and one rushing score. Known for his yards-after-catch ability, The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman noted, “He hit 22.8 MPH on the GPS on a touchdown, which was the fastest clocked in-game speed for a college player in 2022.”

Last season, Baldwin posted his best yards per reception average at Baylor (17.7) and scored a career-high five touchdowns.

Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle lead Miami’s wide receiver room with second-year player Malik Washington and free-agent signee Nick Westbrook-Ikhine currently penciled in as the third and fourth receivers heading into training camp. The fifth spot could become a hotly contested battle between Baldwin, a trio of other undrafted wideouts, and last year’s seventh-round pick Tahj Washington, who spent all of 2024 on injured reserve.

Baldwin also brings moderate kick-return experience from college and could factor into that phase during camp. His versatility, crisp route-running, and explosiveness, including a 4.32-second 40-yard dash, make him a player to watch closely this summer.
