The Cincinnati Bengals are all over the place in 2025 NFL season predictions.
Some love the Joe Burrow-led offense and think it will have enough juice to prop up whatever the new Al Golden-coordinated defense will do.
Others think some of the bad luck and historically bad defense from last year weren’t flukes. That same camp tends to look at the contract standoffs with Trey Hendrickson and first-round pick Shemar Stewart, too, understandably.
So what does the AI think?
That’s a reality of today’s world and Grok, the AI platform on X, spit out a strong 13-4 record projection for the Bengals when prompted.

In those projections, the Bengals take their first loss in the Week 3 Monday night game against Minnesota on the road. They lose again in Green Bay in Week 6. The third loss is Week 13, again on the road, this time against Baltimore. They lose the next game, too, in Buffalo.
But overall? That 13 wins is a massive number. The projections leverage some road struggles with AFC North splits and ultimately put them in the conversation for the AFC’s top seed.
If Burrow and his offense can stay healthy and the defense can jump up to an average level of play, though, it won’t just be AI saying this sort of outcome in projections because it will unfold on the field itself.
