MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. —

“They talk, we do.”

It’s a refrain Miami Dolphins linebacker Bradley Chubb mentioned on Tuesday, a day before the Dolphins hit the field for their first training camp session of 2025. It’s a phrase head coach Mike McDaniel is using in reference to the tempered expectations for the team from the national media following Miami’s 8-9 season.

The key word of the offseason at the team facility has been “culture,” perhaps something the team lacked last season.

“A solid culture is when people are their best and their individual character is uplifted by the team culture and character of the entire room,” said veteran fullback Alec Ingold.

Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill famously took himself out of the team’s final game last year but is looking to improve in the leadership department.

“I need to be better as a leader and I realized that throughout this whole entire offense because ever since me and family got here, this fanbase has been special to us,” Hill said.

The Dolphins roster has a lot of turnover ahead of the season, and that includes at the tight end position. Jonnu Smith was traded to Pittsburgh, and the team acquired Darren Waller, who came out of retirement after a year of not playing.

Tyreek Hill’s kids like Justin Jefferson as a player more than their own Dad!
