General Manager Howie Roseman selected five defensive players with his first five picks. Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell, Texas safety Andrew Mukuba, Nebraska defensive tackle Ty Robinson, UCF cornerback Mac McWilliams and Georgia linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. are all expected to upgrade the defense in 2025 for the Eagles.

In the upcoming season, the offense is expected to continue its prowess under new coordinator Kevin Patullo after the departure of Kellen Moore, who took the head coaching job in New Orleans.

While star receiver A.J. Brown is under contract through 2029 and just turned 28 on June 30, Roseman is always looking to the future.

PFSN believes the Eagles will go wide receiver in its way-too-early 2026 NFL Draft, where Philly has the final pick of the first round.

The draft order has been established using the PFSN Mock Draft Simulator, which you can use to predict every round.

ROUND 1, PICK 32 – Philadelphia Eagles: Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

“Carnell Tate finished third on the team behind Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka with 733 yards and four touchdowns, but the Buckeyes receiver was ultra-effective,” PFSN wrote. “He ranked 24th in the nation with an EPA per play of 0.72, slightly behind his freshman teammate. At 6-3 and 191 pounds, Tate has the profile to be the next first-round Ohio State receiver.”

“He showcases an exceptional route-running technique; his timing and rhythm create natural separation, which should ease the transition from Will Howard to Julian Sayin at Ohio State during the 2025 college football season.”
